Business rent holiday extension

Covid rent relief to commercial tenants extended by 3 months to year end.  The moratorium preventing landlords from exercising rent recovery or eviction via usual legal means takes the pressure off tenants temporarily.

We are delighted that the guest speaker at our next online Q&A is Professor Andrew Hardy, CEO of University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust.   In addition to his Chief Executive Officer role, Andy is a Professor of Industry at the University of Warwick, a Director of Albany Theatre Trust and in July 2020 was appointed as President of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

Expanding medical centre signs joint venture with national pharmacy

In a deal led by Lodders Solicitors’ Corporate and Commercial team, Hastings House Medical Practice, Wellesbourne, has purchased a half share of the pharmacy and taken on leases for pharmacy premises and GP surgery in Kineton, expanding its comprehensive primary care provision by creating a joint venture with a multi-national pharmacy company.
