Online Q&A at 10am with Nadhim Zahawi MP, Member of Parliament for Stratford on Avon and Minister for Business and Industry

In 2000 Nadhim Zahawi founded YouGov, a leading market research company.   Having started life in an office in Nadhim’s garden shed, YouGov now employs over 400 people on three continents.   He floated the company on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 and was named Entrepreneur of the year by Ernst & Young in 2008.

In January 2010 he stood down from YouGov to run for election as Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon.  Upon winning the seat, Nadhim was elected to the Business, Innovation and Skills Select Committee, which scrutinises the impact of government policy on business.   Having held various posts in Government, in July 2019 he was appointed as Minister for Business and Industry at BEIS.
