Part of the Innovation Group at the University of Warwick, the Esports Centre is a key driver in this exceptionally fast growth sector.  We will hear from Jack Fenton, Head of Esports about the aims and ambitions of the Esports Centre and role it plays nationally and internationally. Both Jack and the University have recently been nominated for two international Esports Awards (the “Oscars of esports”), the UK’s first and only nominees.

With 24 state-of-the-art computers and several different next-gen consoles that guests will be able to try for themselves, attendees are welcome to stay until nearer 2.30 than the usual 2pm end time to try out some of the games or have a tutorial from one of the team.  The Centre can accommodate a large number of people playing at once, so please feel free to invite your colleagues to come along too.  It promises to be a memorable and fun First Friday lunch!
