The former Ikea building has been bought by Coventry City Council as one of the ways of creating a lasting legacy from the city’s year in the spotlight.
We will hear about some of the interim ways in which the building has been brought back into use as well as an insight into the ambitious plans for the building to become an arts and culture facility of national and international standing. We’ll also find out more about the plan for the building to house some of the greatest works of art in the country, by becoming the home for the Arts Council Collection and the British Council Collection, alongside local collections.
Paul Breed, Chief Executive of Culture Coventry and Charlotte Booth, Programme Manager, City of Culture and Commonwealth Games will then give us a guided tour.
Free car parking on site will be available. Click here to book your place.
The cost for members is £15. The charge for non-members is £25 for businesses in Coventry & Warwickshire or £40 for those who are outside the region.
