Fearsome Craftsmen: join us for a very special preview

Picture Vikings and you’ll probably imagine aggressive warriors.  But they were also incredibly creative.

Join us for our July First Friday and discover the artistry of the Viking world.  We have secured a special preview of the exhibition, on tour from the Jorvik Viking Centre, exclusively for our members.

After a light lunch, we’ll visit the archives for inspiration and discover the 1,000 year old human innovations that built a vast empire.

Then we get creative and have a little fun.  We’ll split into groups to create a piece of Viking art to be judged by an art curator.   It’s a great way to network and there’s a prize for the winners!
