November First Friday – Our great city and young people

Award-winning entrepreneur Trish Willetts the Coventry BID manager will join us to talk about her role and plans for the city.  Coventry BID works with businesses located within the ring road and Coventry City Council to promote and develop the city centre’s retail, business and dining offering – with the aim of showcasing the city as a great place to work, visit and do business.

Our second speaker Dave Lennox was appointed as the area’s first Enterprise Coordinator after the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) received funding from the Careers & Enterprise Company.  The nationwide scheme is part of the government’s long-term plan to promote enterprise in schools and colleges and provide inspiration about the opportunities available in the world of work.

More than 20 partnerships in Coventry & Warwickshire has already formed a powerful network between local businesses, schools and colleges.
