The last remaining piece of the country’s first ever car factory is the site for major renovation and investment as a dedicated creative hub.
Date: Tuesday 20th June 2017
Time: 7.30 for 8am until 9am
Hosted by Jane Hytch, Chief Executive of Imagineer Productions and Roger Medwell, Chair of Imagineer and Culture Coventry, we will hear from a range of guest speakers about the history of the building and future plans for its development.
Imagineer is the live events production company that created the 10 metre high Lady Godiva for the London 2012 Olympic celebrations. At its heart is the exploration of the relationship between creative thinkers and innovators from the arts sector together with engineers, architects, educationalists, special effects artists and designers.
Jane and her team plan to breathe new life into the Daimler Powerhouse and transform it into a dedicated creative hub, building on its original purpose as a centre where design and engineering meet. It will house organisations, projects and individuals focused on meeting the creative needs of 21st century business, industry, commerce and culture.
Please note this is a factory space. There is limited parking available on site but plenty of additional on street parking in the immediate vicinity.
