OBJECTIVES FOR THE GROUP

a) To identify opportunities for members to receive support, financial or otherwise, to enhance the skills of themselves and/or those of their employees.
b) To promote the businesses of C&W First members in the Schools, Colleges and Universities in the region as potential employers and create more awareness of the career choices that are available locally.
c) To signpost (and sometimes provide) courses/seminars in/on the non technical skills and ancillary business knowledge needed to work in/run a professional sector business.
d) To engage with other relevant bodies such as the Learning & Skills Council, Advantage West  Midlands, the Chamber of Commerce etc to ensure that the voices of C&W First's members are heard and taken note of in setting the on-going skills agenda.
